General Store & Home - California Gold Country
In the heart of the California Gold Country, this two-story building is an impressive sight. Constructed of slabs of local schist, held together by adobe, it’s huge with two stories and a large basement. Built in the early 1850s by James Romaggi. He and his family lived in the upper floor, while downstairs they operated a small store.
