Graffiti House - Mojave Desert - California

Out in California’s Mojave Desert, about a thousand miles from nowhere, this place is. It’s a large ruin, no interior walls remaining or rubble from them. Maybe at one time there were wood-framed walls inside to create separate rooms. Was it a house? A business? Iunno. But it’s a neat place to stop and take pictures.

The Backside

The Inside

It had a fairly large fireplace which may have been the only source of heat. I didn’t see any evidence of propane or propane accessories around the building.

No sign anywhere of the roof or what it was made of.

The walls seem to have been made from cement blocks, which then had red bricks affixed, maybe a decorative touch.

At some point, someone really liked the color blue. I wasn’t impressed by the graffiti.

If anyone out there who happens to read this post knows any history of the place, please leave a comment below. I’d love to add some of the back story to the, story.
